Sign up to be the first to hear about the Day Retreats & 3-Day Retreats held right here in the stunning Bay of Islands & Northland.
Private Classes
I've privately taught travelling pregnant yoginis to relax with pregnancy yoga, frazzled midwives to meditate & breathe, plus given countless people with back & neck issues their own personal schedules to follow. I've even taught yoga to group of pregnant hens at a hen's party!

In yoga it's called a "Sadhana" - your teacher makes you a personalised practice for you to follow, and then you re-assess the effects and re-jig as necessary. Needless to say, a complete yoga programme designed specifically for you, and taking into account EVERYTHING, (even what season it is) can be truly life-changing. It’s a really awesome gift to give yourself or someone you love!
Workshops
Learn something new or push yourself outside of your comfort zone with a yoga workshop. From Handstands to Myofascial Release, there's something for everyone. Visiting yoga teachers during the Summer months bring their yoga area of expertise to us right here at the Haruru Falls Studio (pictured) near Paihia in our beautiful Bay of Islands.
Blog
Does all this "ooh I'm a yoga teacher" mean that I never tweak my back while picking up the kids crap from the floor? And that I never go nuclear & raise my voice (inappropriately or otherwise)? No! But what is DOES mean is that I have the tools to fix these things - and also the knowledge to try and get them to happen less & less too. It means my core is solid and my back muscles are grateful for that, all of which helps to support the quick recovery of those old lady back moments. These days I get cross far less frequently, injuries heal double quick, and I feel (and hope!) that I'm generally becoming a nicer human being. Just maybe.

This blog is me writing about life with 1 fiance, 4 kids, 1 dog, 2 cats & any number of sheep - and trying to hold it all down as a working mum. While trying to finish building a house. What could possibly go wrong?
